…kamarawa says he’s ready to provide evidence to authorities who kill Dadiyata.

Musa Kamarawa, former aide to ex-Zamfara State Governor, claims a security officer, Hussaini Gimba, killed activist Dadiyata in his presence. Kamarawa says he’s ready to cooperate with authorities investigating the case.
Dadiyata, also known as Abubakar Idris, was a vocal activist in Kaduna, Nigeria. His killing is suspected to be linked to his criticism of the government.
Investigative journalist Damilola Adekunle alleges Dadiyata’s death was confirmed after a ₦10 million bribe was paid to an informant. Adekunle claims Dadiyata was killed after being abducted in 2019.
The government expresses concern over Dadiyata’s possible activism, while Amnesty International condemns his killing as a human rights abuse.
Kamarawa vows to cooperate with authorities, but the officer implicated, Hussaini Gimba, remains unaccounted for.
