A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted bail to the National President of Miyetti Allah Kauta Hore, Bello Bodejo, in the sum of N2 billion over allegations of money laundering amounting to $2.63 million.
Bodejo, who was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on a 12-count charge, pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Justice Inyang Ekwo approved the bail after considering his application, following his earlier remand in EFCC custody. The court also fixed conditions that Bodejo must meet as his trial continues.
